Bath Time = Fun Time
So all of a sudden Roman likes his bath. He never really enjoyed being in the water, I had to keep the bath to under 5 minutes or else (crying, screaming, one unhappy babe). Then lo and behold he found that splashing is really great. I'm not sure if you can tell but I'm pretty wet. It took two large bath towels to clean the bathroom. Hey at least he likes it.

Matched?
So I was sick... and Michael being the awesome husband that he is had baby duty for the day. Above is our son dressed by his daddy. Props to Mike; Roman has socks on and is dressed. Funny note: Broncos onesie, Brown and red puppy pants, and baby blue and white socks that should be folded, but are all the way up to the boys knees. The combo doesn't quite go together, but the funny thing is that each of these items belongs to a coordinating set.... When I told Mike that he looked like a boy dressed him he said, "He doesn't match?"
I LOVE MY HUSBAND!

My Lil' Mozart
Roman loves music, so Mike and I play one handed piano and sing to him when he's cranky. Well the little guy caught on quick now he pounds the piano when we have sing time. It's awful cute. Though, I doubt we will think that when he can walk and constantly pounds the piano (good thing there is a lid). I wanted to catch him playing = pounding the piano, but of course he was the humble conservative when I got out the camera. Here is a tidbit of his soon to be master piece!
San Diego
After Christmas we went to San Diego with the Shideler Family. Roman's first trip!
When we pulled up to our house this is what we saw. The sunset was amazing, this was right out our front door, we stayed on "Sunset Cliffs". In the picture you see Mike and his brother Chris watching the sunset and the surfers (somewhat visible).
Our back yard had a pool, but it was solar heated, which meant NOT heated. Even the kids didn't want to swim in the pool for more than a "I dare you to jump in the pool" kind of thing. Though we did get some major use out of the hot tub. Here is Uncle Mikey playing with Ava.
Now I've thrown in another picture of the hot tub, Austin, Kate and Drew are playing with the pool toys. Please take notice of the greenish brown color that is the water in which they are swimming. And this was when the hot tub was still "clean".
Lorie and Alicia playing by the pool. Good thing Lorie weighs like 90 lbs... I'm a weakling.
A walk on the Ocean Beach Pier. The longest pier on the west coast, though they count the T. We also had the world's BEST pancakes on the Ocean Beach Pier Cafe, (seen in the distance).
Mike has Drew on his shoulders and then Grammy and Grampy are strolling along with Roman in the stroller.
Going to the BRONCO Game!!!!
This was Mike and Roman's first Bronco game. Too bad we lost terribly.... it was also Mike Shannahan's last game.
The house we stayed at was very 70's style (noting that it wasn't retro either... it was original) It was kind of a weird old house in need of some fixing up. But, it was a great location and fit us all.
Below is the some of the group who went to the game. (Missing: Barry & Richard). Barry took the picture and Rich wasn't allowed in.... dumb chargers! (I'm kidding... about Rich not being allowed in, but not about the dumb chargers)
This is THE bridge that the one and only Baxter was kicked off in Anchor Man. :)
Roman & Daddy, we went on the harbor cruise, and with my two favorite boys and a sunset, how can you not love this picture?
We LOVE Sea World!
Who's the little girl?
Yes folks this is my husband Michael, and yes he is that cool!
First time surfing and he got up! Ladies I'm sorry, he's taken!

Christmas
This is Roman's Christmas Photo Outfit! It was a bit big, but it matched Mike's shirt. Here he is doing his famous half smile.
This is the photo we used on our Christmas Cards, sorry if you didn't get one. :)
This pic was actually self timed, and was about the 20th try. We originally wanted our puppies in the picture too (they even had cute antlers), but they did not cooperate. So you see our final product is puppy-less
Roman Christmas morning with all his loot. You can't see all of it, but he was spoiled for being only 3 months old.
